Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh Confims Three Tracks Coming to Rock Band

devo

G4′s X-Play has got the goods on the new Devo tracks coming to Rock Band. According to an interview with Mark Mothersbaugh, the creators of everyone favorite rhythm game really wanted “Through Being Cool” despite it being heavily laden with synth-solos.”They wanted ‘Through Being Cool’ for some reason,” he says, “Which is kind of odd because it’s all synth solos, so we re-recorded all my synth solos, synth leads, as guitar leads.”

Mothersbaugh also confirmed two other songs coming in the future which we assume will be released in a three-song pack like most offerings. The titles of the other two tracks were not mentioned, by I would be very surprised if “Whip It” were not included and if I were to make a suggestion, it would have to be “Girl U Want” from the same album. “Working in the Coal Mine” from their New Traditionalists would just be too much fun to play especially with that little bit of 60′s surfer guitar sound prevalent in the background.
