Death in Hardcore Mode is permanent, with one exception.

Errrr, what’s this secret one exception then? Huh? HUH? If there’s a way to make it through Hell… especially on diablo… without having done it softcore with the same class a buncha times already in order to know what to expect… AND actually be able to make it to Inferno at all… Well, I’m *DYING* to know! haha… And before I get trolled, entirely kidding around, HC’s s’pose to be tough

I’m assuming it’s a typo, and you meant, “with no exceptions.” I just wanted to inform you in a colorful way. Otherwise that’s one hell of a cliffhanger for the HC Info Guide Page to not tell us what it is. lol

pretty sure the exception he’s referring to is the following:

“PVP Duels can be joined in Hardcore Mode, and deaths during a duel will NOT kill your character. “
