Diablo 3 Inferno Mode Defeated By Hardcore Duo

Ferdinand Magellan. Sir Edmund Hillary. Neil Armstrong. Being the first to do something is a good way to ensure your own personal slice of fame, and Diablo 3 players Kripparrian (Barbarian — here’s his YouTube Channel) and Krippi (Wizard) just got theirs by being the first to down Diablo on Diablo 3′s infamous Inferno difficulty.

The news was eventually confirmed by Blizzard Community Manager Bashiok, who enshrined it in a tweet:

To make things even more impressive, Kripparian and Krippi cleared Inferno in Hardcore mode. Since a single death in Hardcore means starting over from the beginning, they couldn’t develop their tactics by simply failing over and over again and learning from their mistakes. They had to get things right the first time. To make things even more impressive than that, they did it on the day before patch 1.0.3 went live, significantly reducing Inferno damage and ensuring that no matter what happens, no one will ever top Kripp and Krippi’s achievement.

Fighting something for that long doesn’t even seem like fun after a while…LOL…nonetheless….a remarkable achievement indeed!
