Diablo 3 Releases Tonight! Review Coming “When It’s Ready”

At long last, the wait is just about over. A sequel a decade in the making will be released, and the heavens shall tremble.

Diablo 3 is nearly upon us.

Access to the game unlocks for everyone in North America at midnight Pacific time — that’s 3am Eastern — and our Diablo 3 review will be released when it’s ready™. We’re quietly optimistic, but are going into the game with both eyes open.

Let us know if you have any burning questions you’d like to have answered in our review, which may go up next week — assuming we don’t push back our release date.

Once you get going, you may want to check out our Diablo 3: Complete Achievements List — just beware of spoilers.

UPDATE:

Here’s a pic of what has arrived at the Game Front offices…

Collector’s Editions, baby. There’s an odd glow in the office, now…

Just try to remember to stay true to how you feel playing the game and with the review, the gamers will hold you accountable if you guys end up over hyping the game with a over the top rating.

Luther – I honestly don’t think you have to worry about that with this site. It’s refreshing to come here and see reviews that articulate our frustrations (ME3) without fear of reprisal. CJ has already been targeted for NOT over hyping the game before his reveiw, so I’ve got faith.

So when is the review coming? It’s clear Diablo 3 is a terribad game unless you are a ten year old living in 1990.

And if you were a ten year old living in 1990 and had the chance to play Diablo 3, you’d think it was mediocre at best.
