Diablo 3 Will Let You Play With People Around the World

Diablo III is going to allow players to join servers regardless of their region, according to an FAQ published by Blizzard, so expect at least some capacity to interact with other wizards and warriors from around the world when the game drops on May 15.

The game’s Global Play feature will allow players to migrate between its three servers, divided into the Americas, Europe and Asia. But though you might want to play with a pal in Hong Kong, note that if you’re doing your primary play on the America server, you’re not going to be able to take your character or any of your gear with you — those things are server-specific. You’ll have to re-roll on each new server.

You’ll also need a new friends list and server-specific auction house offerings.

Good news is, you can have as many as 10 characters per server, which should offer lots of flexibility.

Not even death can save you from Diablo. That’s why you’ll need to kill him first. Don’t become another victim, check out our huge video walkthrough and save yourself from a fate worse than death.
