Diablo III Male Demon Hunter Revealed

After teasing us for weeks, Blizzard finally revealed the male counterpart to the female demon hunter. The last class to be revealed for Diablo III, the demon hunter’s style is a blend of Van Helsing, Clint Eastwood, and Kate Beckinsale (from both Underworld and Van Helsing), all with a decidedly dark edge.

Blizzard wanted to ensure the demon hunter’s appearance clearly portrayed the concept of this dual-wielding crossbow class, from his quiet badass demeanor to his years of experience fighting the minions of hell.

Diablo I and II is so old now that can D3 really even deliver to the ever changing demands of the video games of today? For a lot of games out there what kept us playing 1, and 2 might not be enough, I fear all the huge hipe for something that isn’t going to be nearly that great, but we will see.

That’s a great question, Luther. I’ve been following the development of D3 closely, and they are not confining themselves to the design philosophy of D1 and D2.

Some diehard fans of the series think this is a bad thing, but it may do exactly what you brought up: deliver to the ever changing demands of today’s gamers.
