Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition Dated For Next-Gen Consoles
The Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition is coming to current and next-gen consoles in August.
Two full years after Diablo III made its debut on the PC, a release date for the next-gen console edition has finally been announced: August 19 is the day that Big Red will arrive on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition, which will include the full version of Diablo III plus all the content included in the Reaper of Souls expansion. The updated game will support co-op action for up to four players on a single screen.
Gamers who preorder the Ultimate Evil Edition will get the Infernal Pauldrons for their trouble and trust, a set of shoulder plates wearable at level one that grants bonuses to Vitality, Life per Second and Cooldown Reduction. Preordering isn’t actually available at this moment, but Blizzard said retailers should have the necessary pages up and running soon.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition will also be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, to add the expansion content to the base game on those platforms. Look for it to carry a price of $59.99 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and $39.99 on the 360 and PS3.
