Digital Storm Releases PC vs. Console Gaming Infographic

Custom gaming computer builder Digital Storm has put together a handy infographic comparing PC and console gaming, examining costs, hardware, user friendliness, and more.

Sure, you may think a PC vs. Console infographic released by a company based on PC gaming may be biased, but after reading through it, I believe the folks over at Digital Storm did a great job of highlighting the pros and cons of both systems. This graphic doesn’t just gush over the PC; it highlights its faults as well.

Check it out and let us know what you think. Do you feel any bias in the graphic? Are you a PC gamer, console gamer, or a mix of both? Why?

Well for now i’m a mix of both, Mainly consoles for the aaa games, because me being 16 without a job, I just can’t afford a good gaming pc yet. I have a pretty bad pc right now that I use for mostly half life 2 based games (css, grey, gmod, etc.) and indies. I would wanna be a pc gamer, because of the freedom of it, if that makes any sense.

Yep, realist. basically a console is the same as a DVD reader under your tv, where a PC is the same as a Media Center in the same place…

I’ m a mix of both.
My first love was computer, (lend to friend CPC 6128 ,520st “Xenon2″ ) ,and my dear To8D, the most you could make many stuffs with “basic”, software was expensive so you had to do things homemade,”Beware nostalgia kill “, the less the diskette got thin capacity.

So here came “Street fighter2″ and every body know what happened,”Super Famicom”,the arcade at home, cartridge for max gaming ( no dlc here, no hacker, no update,no patch, less f…king bug, you got what you paid for).

OK, nowadays my computer is a 775 socket based on and i still can do many and more stuffs with it,but this gonna be my last race ,because:
I hate the idea of have a nuclear power plant at home ,to play game based on heavy engine who use only brute power for a few thing, most of the past and actual hardware had been under exploited.

For the console, i stop buying at the 128 bits because :
More they’re close to PC, more sh..t happened ( loading time ,over heating and others candy bar up there ), for good action game like “lord of shadow ” i just lend some friend ps3 or Xbox 360.
Conclusion i got a PC for many media and many old console for good action game.
Sorry for have been so long…..
