Dinosaur Shooter Primal Carnage Gets More Free DLC

Another DLC pack is coming to players of the asymmetrical multiplayer shooter Primal Carnage, adding a whole new dinosaur to the fray — for free.

That dinosaur is the Spinosaurus, the big addition of the “Get to the Chopper” DLC pack. The giant carnivore appears to fight humans on a new map called Downpour, in which the human team is charged with moving through the map and hitting a series of objectives along the way — turning on a fuel valve, making contact with a radio, and finally sprinting for the chopper. Dinosaurs, as you might expect, need to kill the humans along the way.

You might remember the spinosaurus as the upgrade to the T-Rex in Jurassic Park 3, and since it’s massive, it’s also the final obstacle in the Get to the Chopper mode. It can also kill humans in pretty much one go, so there’s that to deal with.

In addition to the Downpour map, the DLC also includes a rework of Primal Carnage’s Docks map, and more maps are on the way. The spinosaurus also will be available to purchase as a multiplayer skin in other modes, too.

You can grab your Get to the Chopper DLC from Steam right now.
