Divinity: Original Sin Now Set for Full Release this Spring
Character loss at launch. It’s why I haven’t clicked the “Add to cart” button in Steam for the early access version of old-school RPG Divinity: Original Sin. That should change soon. Developer Larian Studios announced today that Divinity: Original Sin will see full release sometime this spring.
Originally set for launch this month, Divinity has been bumped back a few months “to implement feedback received from Steam Early Access players and Kickstarter backers,” Larian said in a statement.
So what new features can we expect for the full release? Larian shied away from specifics, but did share the above preview trailer and state: “The world is growing ever more vast and more interactive, and here you’ll find a first look at some of Rivellon’s previously unseen fairytale landscapes and creatures. If you pay close attention, you’ll find that it’s not only your elemental powers, but also tempestuous weather that can shift the winds in combat.”
Divinity: Original Sin has been on my watch list for a long time. Looking forward to finally diving into Larian’s complete new world this spring.
