    The Goal of Adventure Mode

To successfully progress through Adventure Mode, you’ll need to survive all 5 chapters of the game by acquiring various resources that either maintain your character’s health throughout or act as a defense against the threats present in the surrounding environment. These resources include food items such as berries and carrots or tools for creating warmth such as flints and firewood. To complete a chapter and move onto the next one, you’ll need to combine 4 special “Thing” items scattered across the map with another special object called “The Wooden Thing”.

    The Wooden Thing/Teleportato

Your main concern while exploring each new chapter’s world, aside from general survival, should be locating the four “Thing” pieces hidden around the area and using them with the “Wooden Thing” to construct a device called the “Teleportato”. The four “Things” are: “Box Thing”, “Crank Thing”, “Metal Potato Thing” and “Ring Thing”. Once activated, the Telepartato will transport you and up to four items of your choice from the inventory to the next chapter. The “Wooden Thing” itself will be guarded by Clockwork Monsters that must be overcome before the other four “Things” can be combined onto it.

Erm, not to demonise your work, but the map randomises with each play through, making a walkthrough like this a bit pointless….. Sorry…..

@Phoenix: Don’t worry, we’re well aware of that! The guide isn’t meant to be a step-by-step walkthrough, instead we’re trying to provide a little extra help for beginners to teach them how to get started, and what to look for. Certain events always occur after a period of time, we just want to provide some tips for surviving the night.
