These Steam versions of the games are basically "rips" (not full versions) because they don't contain the audio CD tracks (for the games that have them such as Quake 1 and its two expansions packs, Quake II and its expansion packs, and Hexen 2) and the CD keys needed for online play (for the games that require them such as Doom 3 and its expansion pack, RTCW, Quake 3 and Team Arena).
