DOTA 2 Halloween Content Data-Mined From Latest Patch

Industrious data miners have uncovered some festive Halloween content hidden within DOTA 2‘s recent patch, including a new map, a possible new game mode for that map, as well as tweaks that improve everything from the UI to particle effects.

The new map, “Dire Tire,” is a work-in-progress Halloween version of the standard DOTA 2 map we all know and love. Speculation suggests that a new game mode being made specifically for this map will launch in time for Halloween, with clues including images of a tiny Roshan and candy pumpkins that can interact with said tiny Roshan, as well as references to ‘Trick or Treat’ and a glowing area within each team’s map.
