DOTA 2 Launches, No Longer in Beta

Valve’s multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) and sequel to the Warcraft 3 mod Defense of the Ancients, DOTA 2, has launched. Precipitating the game’s launch is the removal of countless beta invites from Steam accounts everywhere.

Despite being in beta for quite some time, the game has since become the most played game on Steam, and it appears poised to maintain its position with its official launch today.
