MAP: Beachhead Assault 1.8 Players: 1 player Prerequisites: Dynamic Campaign Generator 2.2. Infantry pack 2.2 for the DCG (may work with 2.1 of both) This is a medium sized beach head assault by the US forces. You start out as a single soldier with a Thompson on the beach. You can tell who he is by his lack of a helmet. You can then recruit men into your squad. Make your way up the beach along with the rest of the troops and try not to get all your soldiers killed at the same time or you'll lose. After destroying the beachhead defenses, you are tasked with taking over a little town behind the beach with the remaining forces. There are no reinforcements so be careful about what you use your troops for.
Updated version with improved environmental graphics and better looks. Added forest lines and fixed the camera box/playable area problem that forced players to remain in a narrow section of the beach. Changed the terrain in the town from flat to a little more hilly. Took out the house in the path of the "hidden trail" as it provided much difficulty for the AI troops. More balancing for AI troops and other improvements for the AI. Now, this version is fully compatible with the game and will not work well in the GEM editor.A preview photo was also included. Victory and Failure objectives are added. You will fail if you lose control of all troops at the same time. To win, just annihilate all the German soldiers. Coop was taken out due to buggy things.
