Dragon Age: Inquisition – Gameplay Combat Trailer

We get our first in-depth look at the combat system used by Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Fans of the Dragon Age games will notice a lot of familiar features found in the new combat system. The video shows a demonstration of the real-time action and what they call a “strategic tactical camera”. Whatever they want to call it, PC users will immediately identify it as the pause and command setup they’re accustomed to in Bioware RPG titles.

I hope that there’s more to it than what we’ve seen. I haven’t seen anything that hasn’t been used in previous titles. Though, it was from alpha footage, so I’m sure they’ll make improvements before the game is released.

Dragon Age: Inquisition arrives on November 18th, 2014
