Jeuxfrance scored a pretty sweet video showing some over-the-shoulder hands-on time with Square-Enix’s Dragon Quest Swords for the Nintendo Wii.
As you can see in the video, the game takes full advantage of the Wii controller, allowing you to hack and slash enemies on-screen, as well as blocking their attacks with your shield. My one concern is moving around in the game. From the looks of the video, it seems like you will be moving around in the game with the D-Pad, rather than using the analog control on the nunchuck attachment. My guess to why Square-Enix would do that would be to make the game easier to pick up and play and less complicated for new players. I just hope they have an option for analog movement for their more “hardcore” fans. Or…you know, for those of us who have two fully functional thumbs.
