Dreadnought DLC Coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Next Week

Exciting news in the world of Space Marine: THQ has announced the game‘s second DLC pack will be released January 25 on PS3, Steam, and Xbox 360.

Titled Dreadnought, the pack adds a new multiplayer mode called Dreadnought Assault, in which both teams battle for control of central location on the map, King of the Hill style. The team in control of the center receives a Dreadnought armed with an Assault/Auto Cannon, a Meltagun, and a Power Fist/Claw, and is tasked with capturing points across the map to score points for the team. Once the Dreadnought is destroyed, a new spawn point will appear.

The DLC also includes three new multiplayer maps, and new achievements and trophies. Releasing alongside the DLC are the Iron Hands and Death Guard skin packs for 240 Microsoft Points/$2.99.

As a bonus, all players will receive a new multiplayer Capture and Control Mode for free. Playable on any of the game’s multiplayer maps, this team-based mode sees players capturing and defending locations around the map to score points.

The Dreadnought DLC will cost $9.99/ 800 Microsoft Points.

One of the most under rated, under covered, multiplayer shooters of all time…finally some one gives it some coverage…Please someone do a side by side comparison w/Gears 3 which got all types of media coverage but isn’t anywhere near as fun or intense as Spacemarine.
