Drop Everything And Read Marauder Shields Episode 35: Plan B

Good news, people who expected something better than what they got in Mass Effect 3. No, that game is still terminally crippled by a terrible ending, but the Marauder Shields series is back to blow our collective minds with its ongoing look at what a real ending that actually runs with the themes established in the series would look like. In this week’s episode, Admiral Hackett discussed with Alliance scientists the risks and rewards of activating the crucible, forces working to save the galaxy from the consequences of the Crucible get deep, and something bad appears to happen to one of ME2′s best eye candies.

You can read the whole thing at Koobismo’s Deviant Art page. Now, if I might make a request to Mr. Koobismo in the meantime? Once you’re done with Mass Effect 3, want to take on the horrid ending of Battlestar Galactica?

Loving the whole series. Having this series and where it’s going almost makes the original ending worth it.

I still can’t stand to play the game anymore. :(

Of course, as a character completely impossible by the lore of Mass Effect hijacking the plot just so the author can derail the story is such great storytelling.

Wesker1984, how many times do we have to spell this out for you? If you’re not interested in something because it challenges your insular Mass Effect fanboyism, don’t read the article. Trying to convince us you “don’t care” about unofficial canon by posting these fatuous comments on literally every single article dealing with these just makes you look like an idiot and deflects attention away from the subject matter. Please, for your sake and for everyone else’s sake, stop this. It’s beyond tedious, now.
