Duke Nukem Forever 'Teaser' Trailer

Teaser trailers are usually just that.. teasers. They are worse than your High School prom date, and the new Duke Nukem Forever trailer from 3D Realms isn’t any different. Mostly, all you see is Duke pumping iron while puffing away on his obligatory cigar and a few flashes of some scary looking aliens.

As you all know, Duke Nukem Forever is the upcoming FPS and Duke’s last adventure, Duke Nukem 3D, became one of the top selling games of all time and is a very important part of FPS gaming history; it is one of the few “legendary” titles together with Quake and Doom. There have also been console versions of Duke Nukem games, as well as the recently released 3D-platform game, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project; but these are not direct sequels to Duke Nukem 3D.

Check back with us often as more details regarding the game are released.

It’s time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I’m all out of gum.
I should have known those alien maggots booby trapped the sub.

oh i can’t wait for the awesome one liners in this game.

Unbelievable. Completely unbelievable.

We get a teaser every year or so promising the advent of Duke Nukem Forever and we think, “It’s About Time”, but no less than three new game engines have been developed since the original teaser was released. It was supposed to be out using the Unreal 2 Engine, and at that time UT2003 had Just Been Released. That’s how old this Teaser Pattern is.

At this rate we’ll be playing games in true Virtual Reality by the time 3D Realms releases this time capsule.

I’m not at all impressed with the look of Duke. Something is off. And is it just me, or is the top of his head too cylindrical? as if his forehead and his hairline meet to form a perfectly straight, vertical line all around.
