Duke Nukem Forever Was a Profitable Venture for Take-Two
During a conference call yesterday, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick made this declaration: “Despite its disappointing reviews, Duke Nukem Forever was profitable for Take-Two.”
With about 800,000 copies sold thus far, that’s not too surprising considering Take-Two was only involved in the production for a year or so. The big question is: how far in the red is the the production overall thanks to its 87-year development cycle? That’s what I’d really like to know.
