Turbine has launched the 8th content update for Dungeons & Dragons: Stormreach. Not only will Prisoners of Prophecy add new content, the DDO engine has been upgraded for DirectX compatibility giving the game a tremendous graphics boost.
The update also brings a couple more significant gameplay changes. Players unfamiliar with the 3.5 riles set and uncomfortable with assigning stats now have a story-based easy start option. The tutorial will flesh out a character for them based on their preferred play style. Those already familiar with the system can opt out of the tutorial and still receive the XP and rewards for completion.
The other major change is the inclusion of Hirelings. Turbine hopes that solo players will be able to get more out of the game with the addition of these henchmen. The system will be implemented in a series of live in-game events. For more details check out the Dungeons & Dragons Online website.

I heard this game was utter shit and only for people who already play with a bunch of other people and wanna play on the computer, not for solo players (the gods).

Sounds like they’re putting some effort into supporting both current and new users.
I heard that if you don’t have anything nice to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all.
