Dungeons: The Dark Lord Gets Halloween Content Update with New Map

Kalypso’s Dungeon Keeper-alike Dungeons: The Dark Lord is getting a bit of All Hallow’s Eve extra content in a Steam update, allowing you to kill the heroes who venture into your dungeon with a little bit of orange-and-black panache.

The new patch went live today and provides players with a few goofy new things to use in protecting their dungeons and getting into the Halloween spirit. Notably, you get a new Halloween map, Halloween theme updates to the main menu and Halloween junk scattered throughout different dungeons. Here’s the patch notes:

Changes for Dungeons – The Dark Lord 1.1 (a.k.a. “The Halloween Update”)

  • New spell “Pumpkinhead”: The Dungeon Lord who invokes this spell will receive a 10% modifier on his/her resistances. The increase will be halved after each hit until the buff evaporates following the third hit. The Lord will also have a giant pumpkin attached to his/her head for the duration of the spell. This spell will also be available in multiplayer for all Halloween Update users.
  • New Halloween theme in main menu
  • 2 new Prestige Gimmicks: Illuminated Halloween pumpkin (1x floor, 1x wall mounted)
  • Halloween themed debris throughout each Dungeon
  • New Halloween map
