E3 2008: Red Faction: Guerrilla Screenshots Are Explosion Happy

Fans of explosions and things that go boom will really like the new screens we have of Red Faction: Guerrilla. Almost every single one has something blowing up, which isn’t quite what I associate with Red Faction, but it still looks pretty cool.
I’ve got extremely high hopes for the game, despite being majorly disappointed by Red Faction 2. The original game was a real favorite of mine and my go-to FPS on PC for several years, and then when RF2 came out, it ruined everything I liked about the first game and stripped online multiplayer for no apparent reason.
Guerrilla seems like a step in the right direction. Here’s hoping for a GeoMod comeback.

Why wouldn’t you associate blowing up with RF.Thats what the first game was about. It looks awesome.

Because the first game was about destroying and manipulating the environment, not simply making things blow up.

The original Red Faction was to my knowlege, a very good game…and this one looks like it might just reach that same standard today…
