Wil Wheaton Discovers “Piggies Strike Back:” Unofficial Angry Birds Spin-Off

On-site at E3 2012, Wil Wheaton stumbled across a little gem of a game: Piggies Strike Back. The quaint indie title is a parody of Angry Birds, in which the pigs strike back.

Developer Alberto Rodriguez told Wheaton, “If you’re tired of the birds winning, this is the game to play.” Rodriguez spent eight months coding the game, and his wife created all the art assets. Currently on Android, Rodriguez is waiting for iOS clearance to go through. (UPDATE: Clearance has gone through — the game is available on iTunes now!)

Check out the video:

The game has a swine flu special attack. If that doesn’t make you want to play, then I don’t know what will.
