EA, a Great Place to Work

electronic-arts.jpgApparently, Electronic Arts may have fierce competition for their internships, because their full time positions are just awesome, according to an article on CNN Money.

Average starting salaries at the company have reached $60,000, and there are stock options as well. Ooh, let’s not forget the on-site gym and free DVD library, because why should you have to leave the company grounds to work out?

What a lot of people don’t understand is that you’re basically expected to live at work. And your weekends? Yeah, they’re optional. It’s not so much a party as it is a trade-off between working for a video game company and bending over for some other heartless corporation.

Best of luck college grads.

You’ll never get rich working for EA and heaven knows you need to be in order to live in the Bay Area.
