EA’s Frank Gibeau: Vita Has “A Stronger Title Slate At Launch” Than 3DS

3DS has not been the unqualified success Nintendo hoped for. We liked it – mostly. But it hasn’t sold very well and to this day no one’s sure what the point is supposed to be. Apparently, not even Nintendo.

It didn’t have to be this way of course, but Nintendo insisted on rushing the damn thing out before they had any decent games. The result has been less than stellar sales, leading to the decision to drastically lower the price.

Will it work? As it has been nearly 6 months and the only true AAA title for 3DS is a reworked Ocarina of Time, I am skeptical. And so are developers, if EA’s Frank Gibeau if (typeof shutterOnload === 'function') { shutterOnload(); }

Yeah, I thinks so too, 3DS didn’t have strong lineup when it launched, while Vita will have strong lineup, good features, good hardware. Although I’m worry about the analog stick, looks not comfortable at that position
