Eidos Announces Deus Ex: Sonic Augmentation Remix Album

OC ReMix, a website best known for its remixes of video game music, has announced its collaboration with Eidos Montreal to release its 39th arrangement album, Deus Ex: Sonic Augmentation.

As the name suggests, the album pays tribute to the Deus Ex series of games with remixes inspired by the setting’s futuristic, dystopian world, with nods to Deus Ex: Invisible War as well as the more recent Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Sonic Augmentation will feature eight tracks by ten artists and will be released for free streaming and download on the OC ReMix tab of Eidos Montreal’s Facebook page. Listeners will be able to download two new tracks each week until all eight are released.

“In collaboration with OC ReMix, the world’s #1 online video game music remix organization, original composer Alexander Brandon and the OC ReMix team have completely remixed and reimagined the slammin’ sounds of the original Deus Ex soundtrack to bring them to you like you’ve never heard before,” said Eidos Montreal’s Adam Badke.

The collaboration involves the soundtrack’s original producer Alexander Brandon along with Jimmy Hinson, Andrew Aversa, Jillian Aversa, and a few more.

Previous OC ReMix albums include Mega Man X, Final Fantasy VI, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which was developed in partnership with Capcom.
