Eidos Walks Us Through Some of Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s ‘Missing Link’ DLC (VIDEO)

We’ve been getting cryptic little bits of information about the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC package “The Missing Link” from Eidos Montreal — that it’ll be about five hours long, that Adam Jensen will lose all his augmentations during the course of it, and that it takes place during the three days missing from the main campaign of DXHR.

Now we have a video that shows quite a bit more about the game, narrated by Lead Writer Mary DeMarle.

There’s not a ton of new information here, unfortunately (we probably wouldn’t want the spoilers anyway), but you do get to see a bit of what things on the Belltower ship will be like for Jensen during the course of the DLC. As we’ve already heard, Jensen starts out having lost his augments, so the early portion of the DLC will mean players will have to adapt their strategies and play without the benefit of cyborg abilities.

DeMarle also mentions in the video that Eidos has worked on the DXHR engine some since the release of the game, and The Missing Link will have some amped up lighting effects, and weather, too!
