EVE Fanfest Will Be Livestreamed

Those of you really, really into MMO Hall of Fame inductee inductee EVE Online are no doubt drooling over the annual EVE Fanfest, happening this week from March 22-24. Unfortunately, it’s being held in Reykjavik, Iceland, and no matter how cute Bjork is, it’s probably not worth the 4 gajillion dollars a two day trip to Iceland will set you back. What’s to be done?

Nothing, as it turns out. CCP Games is livestreaming the whole thing. Major presentations, panel discussions, tournaments, even performances by an impressive array of live acts like HaZaR, GusGus and RoXoR. And it’s free! Of course, if crummy old Internet resolution isn’t your thing, you have the option of purchasing the HD feed as well. But the whole point here is that you can’t afford to go to Iceland, so you’re probably saving your money anyway. If you’re interested, the full details, including technical requirements, can be found here.
