EVE Online Next Mass Test on Tuesday August 9

Fuel up and set a course for the Singularity Server, because on Tuesday, August 9 at 20:00 UTC, the next mass test for EVE Online will take place. The developers need at least 350 players to come out and test, with and ideal player population of 550. Testing should last between 60 to 90 minutes and all participants will receive two million skillpoints on Singularity. Not only do you get to partake in this massive event — you get compensated for it.

Historically, mass tests have gotten bigger and bigger: 360 players attended the May 12th event, 380 on May 24, 420 on June 7, and 450 on June 16. I’m no statistician, but I predict a turnout of 480 players for next week’s event. Hopefully these tests will help resolve the issue of EVE servers being at the mercy of the players.
