The seventh free expansion pack from Crowd Control Productions and White Wolf Publishing for EVE Online, Revelations II includes prominent additions as well as improvements. Players new to the game should enjoy the altered “New Player Experience” where rookie pilots embark on adventures in EVE within a safe area, so that they may practice the essentials of gameplay without getting torn to shreds before they are comfortable. Players who are more familiar with the game or who are seasoned veterans, the broader Sovereignty scope, improved Corporation and Alliance management and introduction of Heat will be most important.

I must admit this trailer wasn’t what I expected after the Rev I trailer, none the less the massive amounts of corp updates will make things a lot easier. On a side note Simon & Schuster Interactive hasn’t had anything to do with EVE since December 2003.

Thanks Admiral for pointing that out. Crowd Control is still involved, but the publisher is now White Wolf. Apparently the places I get my information from need serious updating.
It is fixed.

Unfortunately that’s still incorrect; I’ve never heard of White Wolf nor do they have anything to do with EVE. CCP is the sole distributor of the game, back when the licence between Simon & Schuster Interactive went dry the games developers (CCP) took over distribution themselves.

Actually both of you need to be updated…
Admiral, you’re absolutely right that CCP took back the publishing rights to EVE shortly after launch. (read here for more: http://www.ccpgames.com/press/press_releases.asp?pressReleaseID=10 )
As for White Wolf, they worked together with CCP to create the CCG EVE Online card game. Shortly after the CCG was released they merged – CCP taking over White Wolf in reality. (read this CCP press release: http://www.ccpgames.com/press/press_releases.asp?pressReleaseID=26 )
Hope this helps!

Just to add to the previous comment, White Wolf is currently working on enhancing the current EVE Online lore through books (similar to RPG books) and CCP is working on a 5 year plan to create its next MMORPG based on the White Wolf franchise “World of Darkness”.
Have a look at their job posting to get a hint of things to come ( http://www.ccpgames.com/jobs.aspx ).
