The team over at SOE just keeps cranking out the content. Update 34 hit back on April 25, and the team is already hard at work on Update 35. Update 35 will bring the counterpart to the fae race, the Arasi. The Arasi were spawned from the same pods that gave the Fae life.
Deep and dark magic, wielded by a powerful ruler, overwhelmed the captured pods and â$Ëœperfected’ the race, with the result being the Fae-like race, the Arasi. However, the Arasi are meaner and crueler than the Fae. THe new race will begin in a new starting zone, called the Darklight Woods. Just like the new race in Echoes, this starting area will blend seamlessly with the rest of world, rather than requiring a portal to zone through.
There are new cities, new quests, and lots of other new content. If you’re playing EQ II, this is definitely something to look forward to.
