Every NPC in Hitman: Absolution Has a Unique Identity

You’ll be spending a fair amount of time in Hitman: Absolution, sneaking around and killing or incapacitating enemies as they hunt for you, from what we’ve seen of the game so far. But will you still be able to kill all those guys, knowing that each has a family, a mom and dad, and maybe some kids or siblings or a fish that needs to be fed back home?

Game Director Tor Blystad told Videogamer that IO Interactive has around 2,000 pages of script just dedicated to NPCs in Hitman: Absolution. They’ll all be unique characters, presumably with families that you’re ruining and huge therapy bills that you’re creating.

IO doesn’t know just how much audio it’ll be able to cram into the game, though, even though it’s recording everything it had hoped to use. “Logistics and memory” will determine how much audio actually makes it into the game. Even still, filling the game with voiced, unique characters is a tall, ambitious order. Good for IO Interactive.

I look foward to it, but I really hate the fact that some moron decided not to include David Bateson in the making of this game. He is 47 for Allah’s sake!
