Expect the Usual Delay on Assassin’s Creed 3 for PC

You can almost set your watch by the length and regularity of Ubisoft’s delays of the PC versions of its games.

The latest expected casualty is Assassin’s Creed 3, which has been pushed back about 20 days on PC from its console release of Oct. 31. That means you can expect to play AC3 on PC on Nov. 20 in the U.S., or Nov. 23 in Europe. Oh, and it’s worth noting that Ubisoft denied there would be a delay in July — and today there’s a delay.

It’s a bummer, although if AC3 includes some of the awful DRM measures of other recent Ubisoft games, it might be a moot point (read: totally not worth it) anyway.

I just got an email from Amazon (11 Aug) where much unloved PC Game Pub/Dev UbiSoft has changed the October release date for PC to 23rd November keeping the outdated console versions the same. Considering this was expected though a spokesman have denied there will be such of a delay.
I’m considering I should pirate this game then perhaps pay for it when it comes down dirt cheap on Steam. They are the biggest bullshiiiters in the history of game pubs/devs. Can you see why people pirate games? For the companies sake they better have next-gen API and exclusive PC features with the delayed release (DirectX 11… tessellation… hbao, nVidia Phsyx etc) otherwise I will cancel my pre-order then I will wait till I can buy it cheap – after I play it free first!….Fk U-bisoft!
