Experience the Horrors of WWI with Trench 1916

As I mentioned in an article a while back, “4 Half-Life Mods That Should Become Full Games,” World War I is criminally underserved by game developers. Independent French outfit Gallica Game Studio is attempting to remedy this situation with The Trench: 1916, a first-person shooter with strategic elements that is currently available for pre-order.

Taking control of a French soldier three days before the battle of Verdun, which claimed nearly 700,000 lives, players will direct artillery placement and infantry tactics before delving into the fighting. A trailer below provides a closer, more detailed look. It’s an ugly game, as you might notice, but to be fair — it was an ugly war.

My eyes have melted. The mold on my hairy balls have more substance than this ugly game.

As mentioned the graphics are bad but… let’s not say it has no substance, substance is deeper then what you see.
