Extra 3DS Circle Pad Formally Announced, Dated and Priced for Japan

That ridiculous add-on for the 3DS that gives the device a second joystick is coming, and it’s coming soon, at least to Japan. This baby will be released in that country on December 10, which is a Saturday what is wrong with you, Nintendo?

Anyway, this “baby” will cost Japanese gamers a mere ¥1,500, which means this addition isn’t going to inconvenience players too much in at least one way. It may make them hate being alive, but it won’t empty their bank accounts.

However — and this is a big one — the device requires a AAA battery to run. Amazing.

We’ll let you know when this thing will be making its way to the West.
