‘Eyeborg’ Documentary Runs Down Real-World Deus Ex: Human Revolution-Style Augmentations (VIDEO)

So this is the coolest thing I’ve seen all day. Granted, it’s early, but still.

Following up the launch of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, an incredibly good game, Square Enix has launched a 12-minute documentary on YouTube called Deus Ex: Eyeborg. The video details some of Adam Jensen’s augmentations in the game, and compares them to real-world technology being used today that shows that the fictional world of 2027 isn’t as far-fetched as it at first appears. It details all kinds of interesting prosthetics available in the world today that could very easily be called “augmentations” some day in the future.

Fascinating stuff, to be sure.
