Fable III Lets You Make Your Own Villager
As pre-order bonuses go, action figures, art, and soundtracks are all so last year.
Fable III is looking to provide something unique to those who pre-order Lionhead’s RPG title, and I think they’ve succeeded.
Microsoft has announced the launch of the Fable III Villager Maker (you can find it here). This tool will let you design a custom villager, save him or her as a desktop wallpaper, and even share it on your favorite social networking sites.
I know what you’re wondering now. If everyone can access this tool, what’s the point of pre-ordering?
Well, if you pre-order, you’ll receive a redeemable code that will allow you to port your custom villager into the game once it is released. Once you do this, your custom villager will give you a quest and 1,000 gold pieces. Not too shabby for a pre-order bonus.
If you want to see some of this in action (and I know you do), here’s a trailer showing off this bonus feature.
