Fallout MMO Propaganda Is Strange

The Fallout MMO is something that has been bandied about for a while. Interplay was working on it, then Bethesda sued them. It was later reported that the lawsuit was dropped, but Bethesda said it wasn’t.

Still, development appears to be going forward, and over the weekend, anyone who has signed up for updates received something…odd.

This pamphlet appears to extol the virtues of the Church of Harold. Harold, as you may recall, is the only character to appear in every Fallout game thus far. In fact, he’s worthy of an entire page in the Fallout wiki (click the link for more Harold).

There’s no word on exactly what role the ‘Church of Harold’ will play in Fallout Online, but it could be a faction, a religion, or even a place you’d visit if you chose to play as a mutant (assuming that’s a choice that is made available). We’ll just have to wait and see.

If you figure it out from these images, please let us know.

Harold was the name of the tree growing out of the tree-guy’s head in Oasis. Apparently there’s a religion based around the said tree.
