The Job

  1. Immediately after you complete ‘The Silo’ you will receive this new quest. Move forward down the road (there will be enemies).
  2. Move into the Marked Men Camp. Follow the quest marker until you reach a building with a Marked Man on the roof, who is wielding a rocket launcher. Kill him, and take the stairs to the top.
  3. Next to the bed where the Marked Man was, there is a laser detonator. Pick it up. It is used to detonate the nuclear warheads scattered around the Lonesome Road.
  4. Once you’re in possession of the laser detonator, you’ll have to detonate the correct warhead. Move towards the quest marker until you reach a truck with a nuclear warhead in the back of it.
  5. Use your laser detonator to continuously shoot the warhead until it explodes. You may want to keep your distance, It is a nuclear warhead so there will be a big explosion.
  6. Next, you’ll have to make your way through the Lonesome road to the collapsed overpass tunnel.
  7. Follow the marker. You’ll find the ‘Marked Men Guard Outpost’. Keep moving forward.
  8. Down the road, you’ll find another nuclear warhead in the back of a truck. Use your laser detonator to clear the way. Passed there, you’ll find the ‘Marked Man Base’.
  9. Continue until you reach an overpass with a nuclear warhead on it. Use the detonator again to blow up the warhead. Make your way across the destroyed overpass until you discover the ‘Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance’
  10. Enter the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel.
  11. ED-E will start broadcasting Whitley’s voice to you. The next part of the quest requires you to escape the Tunnelers’ cave and reach the High Road.
  12. Move through the tunnel. There will be Tunnelers you’ll have to kill. While killing the enemies, move towards the quest marker.
  13. Not far into the tunnel, you’ll reach an opening to the High Road. Enter the High Road.

This guy Freaking FAILS Hardcore c’mon like an hour to kill 5 sentry robots thats retarded, use less vats and more ADS and you would be better off. less COD and more Duke nukem dont sit there playing peek-a-boo,throw a grenade pop a med-x and rip em up. you would have wasted half the supplies and saved an hour. OH an P.s. the best armor on a sentry robot is on its head Stupid.

@Ninja- Considering that he started out at a low level, I think he’s doing pretty good. This DLC was designed for high level players, so it is more difficult to kill enemies, and may take longer than usual.

Annoying, just annoying. This guy is the most annoying video commentator i have ever heard. Even muted its annoying watching him waste items for no reason or die becuase he vats everything and targets the wrong body parts. Beyond that, this walk through is incomplete, misguided, and he really did say “I have the achievement to prove it” in the first episode. FAIL. just fail.

Ed-E will kill everything in the entire DLC if he would just wait, or go collect hidden items while Ed-E does all the work. I went in as level 2 with only stealth/lock/science skills. took about 4.0 hours to complete I think.

I gotta ask did anyone else feel that Ulysses was a bit uneducated whenever he spoke also I started to think that they rushed his character development. And anyone know the backstory for the divide and its connection to the courier?

On September 4, 2012 at 12:52 pm

I did Honest Hearts first… Now I’m doing Lonesome Road.. And I can’t figure out how to get to Ulysses’ Temple :/

Lonesome Road can prove itself difficult if you underleveled or if you dont have the right weapons…to tell the truth I did Old World Blues, Dead Money, Honest Hearts and I maxed out my level before I even tried Lonesome Road, by the way carrying with you a nice load of anti-robot weaponry from Big MT, and maybe Cristine Sniper Rifle, with of course the K900 Fido can be all you need; about the armor thats up to you, but since most of the time you will be facing heavy resistance, the best thing to do is wait until you have a power armor, and maybe get the 2 special implans from doctor usanagi :3

just a suggestion <__> X3
