Fallout Online to Launch in 2012

Fallout Online has been under the radar for a while, except for that whole court case with Bethesda.

Interplay has been sending out some strange updates that appear to be from NPC’s in the game, and now they’ve confirmed to Edge Magazine that the game will release in late 2012.

While they aren’t releasing very much from the game, which Interplay president Eric Caen says is due to the aforementioned court case, he did say this:

I can’t say too much. What I can say is that everyone who is registered is getting a newsletter every five or six weeks. The content is not a typical newsletter with a lot of technical information; it’s letters from NPCs about what they’re experiencing.

We’re giving a lot of hints about the future of the game. We have a beta scheduled for 2012, with the commercial launch in the second half of 2012. We have 90 people working on it. Even in January 2009, you were already able to move across the world.

It look like Interplay is on track to get Fallout Online out on time, for the moment. Of course, all of this presupposes that the court case they’re embroiled in is concluded in a timely fashion, and in their favor. For that, we’ll just have to wait and see.

well Schofield you won’t be able to play it cause you’ll be already dead!! you see that I made another funny…
ANY WHO!! whats with this court case, would like more info on that cause my favorite game designing company is with those fools. so whats the deal they can’t have strippers in their game? Like ugly radiated un-gooling strippers? that would be seriously F*#*ED up who would think of that…all stupid S*^T aside please give me more on this court case Ron. Are they quite about it or can I look up this “COURT CASE”, wow better not be that A^&HOLE that had to make EA change the Multiplayer Taliban Forces to Opposing Forces. Oh my lord cry me a river for trying to be historically accurate in a video game, maybe he should do that for all military documents so he can protect me from them!! Better yet how about the Nazis we should be calling them Opposing Forces also cause they were bad people and gamers need to be protected from the truth by a raging retarded that thinks he is making a difference in the world, what a goof!!

sorry can’t let that go, but wouldn’t they have to recall all video games? I mean really if that case won…where is the game recall? anyone know? cause that case was total BS and everyone knows it on these forums.
