Fans Picketing Valve For Half-Life 2: Episode Three

A couple of fans were spotted outside Valve HQ yesterday doing the Lord’s Work. In other words, they were holding up cardboard signs pleading for some Half-Life 3 news.

They must have been inspired by my Episode Three manifesto.

Half-Life 3 and Half-Life 2: Episode 3 are not the same thing.

They are the same thing. The thought is that Episode Three has been in development for so long that it has ballooned into Half-Life 3.

I thought originally that Gabe had stated that instead of simply making Half Life 3,they would do the episodic content.

The thought being that basically episode 1-3 would basically be Half-Life 3.

I didn’t really buy that. However if Episode 3 does end up being Half-life 3, and the first two episodes are demoted to being ‘expansion packs’ then that’s fine. I just hope they maybe make a new engine for HL3, though I’m sure that’s wishful thinking on my part.

Right, the episodes were supposed to be in place of Half-Life 3. But then Valve folks start talking about the end of the episodic experiment, and we start to wonder if they’re sticking with it.

But the point is that everyone begging for “Half-Life 3″ are actually begging for “Episode Three Or Whatever It’s Called Now.”

WOW,did that fat sob Gabe really get off his butt long enough to go take a picture with those two guys? Or is that a Photoshop? He earns a little more respect if he really did, but not too much more. Get the damn game made Gabe, and quit screwing around outside trying to eat protesters.

Half Life 2.3 is suppose to pick up at the city near the docks going to the “Borealis Ship”.
