
1C Company has announced that Fantasy Wars, the turn-based strategy game set in a mystical universe being distributed by Atari, will be available at retail stores in October. Combining both turn-based strategy gameplay and 3D graphics, players can choose to the role of an Orc or Goblin boss, a captain of the Human army or lead the forces of the Elven army.
Players can participate in castle sieges and village defense, assault and reconnaissance operations and swift raids. The game consists of three story-connected campaigns. In each of them players will have to gather an army, upgrade units, find magic artifacts and learn new spells. With more than More than 70 units and 9 types of armies, Fantasy Wars also boasts an advanced army upgrade system that will carry over into the multiplayer modes
As mentioned in a previous post, the demo is available on FileFront along with plenty of new screenshots to browse through. Check back closer to October and we should have more information and media for this cool looking game.
