Far Cry 3 Will Harness PC Power

According to a recent interview with VideoGamer.com, Far Cry 3 will get back to its PC roots and take full advantage of the “grunt” that PC’s have under their hoods. “Grunt” is a term coined by the title’s lead game designer Jamie Keen, who promises that in his game “there are going to be areas where the consoles aren’t going to be able to push things as much as the PC can.” To that end, the Far Cry 3 team have been showing off the PC version of the game, which is extremely dazzling.

Keen is also quick to reassure console players that their version will also look snazzy: “When we do finally unveil what the console versions looks like, I think people are are going to be surprised. Yeah, there are going to be differences, but it might not be as much as people realize.” Regardless of which platform you get it for, Ubisoft looks to have a graphical monster on their hands. Feast your eyes on the trailer, below.
