Far Cry 4 Will Be “Packed to the Gills” With Female Characters

Far Cry 4 will include several prominent female characters “just like life.”

That, at least, is the claim of the game’s director Alex Hutchinson who revealed that the game will feature a variety of notable female characters who are both hostile and friendly to the player.

“Of the four main antagonists, half of them are women, which is cool,” he said in a recent interview. “On your side, one of the main leaders of the rebel faction is a woman, half the rebels that fight with you are women. It’s packed to the gills with women. They’re everywhere, just like life.”’

Hutchinson’s statements come in the light of recent controversies that have seen Ubisoft under fire for its seemingly nonchalant exclusion of female co-op in Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Far Cry 4 will be a similar case, though Hutchinson previously affirmed that the game’s development team was “inches away” from including women as a play option but had to nix the feature due to “workload issues.” Far Cry 4 is set to release for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC on November 18th.

And now Ubisoft scrambles hard to downplay the garbage excuses they used for this game and Assassin’s Creed.

So in other words 3 actual named characters and 2 or 3 other female models reused a few dozen times to increase the size of the army.

As I said in a previous similar article; it’s about quality over quantity.

Stew Shearer is a liability. Obsessed with nothing more than meaningless tropes and numbers to the point where I wonder if he has a mental illness. This is not a story, it’s not even information.

I remember a time when games were simply……games. Not political platforms.
