Felix The Cat Doesn’t Kill Nobody In Skyrim

So some guy named WestSideLuigi had a dream. He wanted to make it through Skyrim without killing anything. And he’s managed to make it to level 9 so far by taking the peaceful path.

And now he wants to show you how he’s done it, via a helpful YouTube video. Here you go.

To create a greater challenge? To do something that hasn’t been done before? To really role-play a character who abhors killing? I’ve seen that last one done in a pen-n’-paper RPG. It really challenged the DM because he had to come up with new ways to award XP for the player – pretty intriguing stuff. I’ve always felt like an RPG would truly be exceptional if the path of the diplomat and/or sneaky spy who never kills were fully implemented alongside the more traditional roles. I know there are games like the Thief series that kind of emphasize this, but that’s their entire point.

Aren’t there MQs where you have to kill people? Would you count those as kills? :S
