FemShep Makes the Cover of Mass Effect 3 Collector’s Edition

BioWare marketing director David Silverman tweeted at a dude that the Mass Effect 3 collector’s edition, which does not have a finalized cover yet, will feature the typical male Shepard on one side of the box and, holy s–t, a female shepard on the other side.

I honestly don’t know for sure why this excites me so much. Maybe it’s because I prefer playing the game as a female because Jennifer Hale is such a better voice actor than Mark Meer. Maybe it’s because my FemSheps are way hot and I enjoy looking at them. Maybe it’s because I get a thrill from what I imagine must be very dangerous sex with Garrus. Or maybe it’s awesome to see a woman save the galaxy for once. I think that’s it.

So more power to ya, BioWare. Silverman also promised a FemShep trailer, which should be pretty fantastic as well.

Outstanding Bioware! It’s about time that you showed the FEMALE lead on covers or in trailers.

Hey Phil, would you mind letting me know the character code for that Female Shepard above? I’ve been Creating and Re-creating my character because she looks so different from the creation screen and in the actual game, I don’t wanna proceed with the game till I’ve done her facial features right, sooo :)
