Fez is Getting Ported to Other Platforms This Year

It seems Polytron is finally going to start circulating its popular puzzle title Fez to other platforms. We don’t know which ones just yet, though.

According to a blog post from Polytron’s Phil Fish, the game will see other platforms. Immediately leaping to mind is a PC release on Steam, which seems like a no-brainer and a big win for Fez. I could also see the game successfully making its way to iOS and other mobile platforms, and it seems dumb to keep the Playstation Network out of the offing as well. But for the time being, there’s no new information, except that something is going to happen.

Also in the “something is going to happen” file: Fish says there are “plans for the soundtrack” as well (which, as you’ll remmeber, we quite enjoyed and spoke with composer Disasterpeace about), and potentially new games. But the whole thing is vague, so who knows.

We’ll keep an eye out for additional information on future Polytron projects.
