Fez, Quantum Conundrum 2 Outed in Steam Database

The Steamworks CDR database has served to out a number of unreleased games for the platform in the past, prior to being officially announced by their developers and publishers. For instance, Borderlands 2 for the Mac was leaked on the database ahead of any official statement by Gearbox or 2K Games.

Today, users on NeoGAF discovered a number of previously unlisted titles on the database. These include console exclusive games like Fez, Halo 3, Dyad, Cut the Rope, and La-Mulana. Other titles include games previously unavailable on Steam, including Shadow Warrior Complete, Halo 2, Halo: Combat Evolved, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Seasons and Second Life. Resident Evil: Revelations, which was recently announced as a port for the PC, is also among those listed.

Interestingly, Quantum Conundrum 2 appears to be listed on the database. It’s not known how well the first title sold, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it sold well enough to guarantee a sequel given the reception it received.

Yesterday, Double Fine’s action-adventure game Brutal Legend appeared on the database, suggesting that the console title would soon join the studio’s growing list of games for the PC.

Hopefully there is a “Borderlands 2 on Linux” leak soon to come. ;-)
